Shipping, Return and Exchange Policy

Domestic (USA) Shipping

Free Shipping

Free shipping is available only in US Mainland which excludes State of Hawaii, State of Alaska, and all other US territories.

Free shipping is eligible only for orders over $67 subtotal.

Free shipping has lower priority than other shipping which means it may delayed without notice.


USPS

For domestic delivery, we have USPS Priority and USPS Express. USPS Priority may take three to four days after shipment according to the delivery zone, which means how far customer is from Chicago, IL. USPS Express delivers overnight to most US locations.

UPS

For domestic delivery, we have the following methods:

  • UPS Ground

  • 2nd Day Air

  • Next Day Air Saver

  • Next Day Air.

UPS Ground: refer to the map below to estimate how many days to customer’s place. It takes one to five business days according to the zone.

PO BOX

Shipping to the P.O Box is available by USPS only. Even if you choose UPS as delivery, it will be shipped out by USPS.


APO, FPO, All Military Installations

For the customers in APO and FPO, fill out the shipping address as followings:

Country: USA

State: AA or AE or AP

City: APO or FPO or DPO

State AA is for Armed Forces in Americas

State AE is for Armed Forces Europe

State AP is for Armed Forces Pacific

City APO is for Army Post Office

City FPO is for Fleet Post Office

City DPO is for Diplomatic Post Office

Other than this, delivery would be delayed and additional charges may apply. And unfortunately These addresses are not eligible for Free Shipping because these locations are not in US Mainland.

All the APO and FPO shipment is available by USPS Priority only. Even if you choose UPS as delivery, it will be shipped out by USPS. The delivery days may be seven to fourteen days or more and vary based on the location overseas.


Air Shipping Restrictions

Due to the restrictions by DOT (Department Of Transportation), HazMat (Hazardous Materials) are unable to be shipped to State of Alaska, State of Hawaii, APO/FPO Military Installations, and other US Territories. US DOT prohibits Air-Shipment of following items which could contribute to an on-board fire or other mishap:

  • Aerosol-type products or medications in pressurised spray cans, such as hairspray or shaving cream.

  • Products that contain flammable volatile or corrosive chemicals, such as nail polish, nail polish remover.


We try all the best to deliver the order to the customer as fast as possible, but please understand we must follow the federal regulations and restrictions.


International Shipping

All international orders MUST be purchased via PayPal.


Duty Tax and Custom Fees

International customers are liable for any tax, duty, and fees such as customs and brokerage fee. The government where the customer lives in may charge those fees and courier service may collect them at the point of delivery.

For more information about the tax, duty and fees, please consult to the local customs office.

If you are to refuse your package due to tax, duty or other fees, the customer refusing the package is responsible for the return shipping cost to Hair to Beauty, which can vary from $17 - $50.


USPS

For the international delivery, we have USPS Priority International and USPS Express International. After the parcel is left USA, local postal service will deliver the package.

USPS Priority International may take six to ten business days or more and the days vary based on the destination.

USPS Express International may take three to five business days or more and the days vary based on the destination.

UPS

For international delivery, we have the following methods:

  • UPS Standard

  • UPS Worldwide Expedited SM

  • UPS Worldwide Saver

UPS Standard is only available to Canada and Mexico.

UPS Expedited estimate days are like these but may vary at times:

  • Approximately two business days to Canada

  • Approximately three business days to Mexico

  • Approximately Four business days to Europe

  • Approximately Five business days to Asia

UPS Saver takes usually one less day than UPS Expedited.


General Guide

Same Day Shipping

We ship out over 95% of our orders on the same day. Order must be completed before 3pm CST for weekdays, and noon for Saturday to be eligible for the same day shipping. However it depends on the item availability and may take a few days to process.


Delayed Shipment, Backorder or Partial shipment

If the shipment is delayed more than three days, we may or may not notify this to the customer. We have the right to ship out partially. In case of backorder or partial shipment, we may issue store credit or refund. In case of partial shipment, we will pay the shipping cost for the second package.


Weekend and/or Holiday Shipping and Delivery

Weekend and Holiday orders will be shipped out on the next business day.

USPS works on Saturday but not UPS. For this reason, UPS may take more days if Saturday is included in the delivery days.


Shipment Confirmation Email

HairToBeauty usually sends email at the end of the day when the order is shipped out with the tracking number. However we may not notify this.


Change of Courier service

We have the right to change the courier service without notice.


Risk of Loss

We make every possible effort to prepare and ship out items in a timely manner. Once items leave our warehouse, risk of loss is passed on to customer, and we cannot be held responsible for any items that have yet to arrive in customer’s hand. We will be glad to prepare a case with the USPS in order to have them investigate where the item is. The USPS will contact customer and will do this best to resolve the situation. We cannot be held responsible, and will not be able to refund or alter a transaction, due to loss or stolen packages, or late arrivals.


If an item falls under the criteria of lost, damaged or non-arrival, we are only able to assist by creating a claim with USPS to investigate item. Creating a basic claim with the USPS signifies research will be done by USPS and they will contact customer concerning any applicable tracking updates. Basic USPS claims are final and no further actions can be taken by us.


Undeliverable, Refused Package

Any order returned to us without previous authorisation from HairToBeauty.com (I.e. unauthorised returns, refused packages, incorrect address, and so on) will be regarded as return.

Order will be cancelled and all fees including but not limited to additional shipping cost and/or restocking fees will apply.

If a delivery is refused by any reason, or considered undeliverable, customer will be charged a penalty that may include but not limited to extra shipping charges.


Wrong or Missing Items

If a customer receive wrong or missing item(s), the customer must report within five business days with the proving evidence. After five days, it is considered everything is fine and correct.

For missing items, we will send it with our shipping cost. In case of wrong item, we will send the customer postage pre-paid call-tag. Send us the wrong item using the call-tag. When we receive the wrong item, we will send the correct one.



General Return Policy 

All return/exchange requests and/or postage date of the returning package must be made within three calendar days of delivery. Any return packages sent after the return period will not be accepted.  Even though you get RMA within three days, if you do not ship to us within three days, the return will be automatically refused. The refusal of accepting the delivery will be regarded as return.

** UNRETURNABLE ITEMS **
All chemical products, make-up, accessories, and leggings/stockings are not returnable. ALL sale items are final sale.

Any returns without RMA (return) code will not be accepted.

All the returning item must be in the original sellable condition with original package including all of its contents. Otherwise, your return cannot be accepted for a refund and you must be responsible for the shipping fee to send the return package back to you. If you refuse to be responsible for the shipping fee, we will dispose the return package.

For the international order of return or refusal of package, you have 30 days from the shipping date to return the package. You are responsible for sending and returning shipping rate. Also you are responsible for any taxes and duties and process fees which my incurred by returning or refusal package. This responsibility will only be lifted if it’s an error in our part.

We have right to refuse the returning item if we suspect the returned item has been used.

We do not accept returns for discontinued items, clearance, special order or wholesale sales.

We ask that any returns are unwashed, unworn, undamaged including the packaging, and contains all original price tags and labels attached & undamaged. Any products shown to be used such as trimmed, cut, odor on product and styling product residues found on merchandise will be rejected. It is recommended that all returns are shipped back in corrugated boxes to prevent damage to the packaging or product during transit.

Refused or Returned to Shipper
Any packages refused or returned to us will be subject to a restocking fee of 20% off the invoice for the products ordered. The shipping and handling cost of the original shipment will not be refunded. The customer will be contacted via email or phone to resolve the reason for the refused/ returned shipment. If the customer wants the shipment to be resent, then the customer will be responsible to pay for the shipping cost to HairToBeauty.com

Do not return any product until you have the RMA number:
To make an exchange or obtain a refund, email us your request. All return requests must be accompanied by a written explanation of the reason for return. We will review your request and send you an RMA number and return address if approved.

Restocking Fee
All Returns are subject to a 20% ~ 80% restocking fee. The restocking fee is determined by the condition of your return item. HairToBeauty.com reserves the right to establish a restocking fee after inspecting your return items. The restocking fee is non-negotiable.

- Original Condition: 20% restocking fee
- Damaged Package (30% up to 50%): Bent/ Crushed/ Wrinkled/ Twisted/ Torn off/ Cut
- Damaged Product (40% up to “Not Returnable”):
  • 40% to 80% - Brushed/ Fingered/ Tangled, Loosen Curl/ Worn/ Odor (Perfume, Hair Spray, Smoke, etc.)
  • Not Returnable: Altered/Chemical Product Applied (Glue, Dye, etc.)Torn Off/ Excessively worn/Smell

- Missing Materials (30% up to 40%): Outer Box/ Tag / Label/ Tissue Paper/ String/ Holder/ Hairnet
- Etc. (30% up to 70%): Products may be deemed defective due to unlisted reasons


If more than two of the above reasons apply to your return item’s condition, the restocking fee will be determined by the reason with the highest percentage. The percentages will not combine.

If your returned item is determined as “not returnable”, here are the options for not returnable items(s):

  1) Pay for shipping fee to have us send the item back to you

  2) Place a new order and get it back with new order (Customer should email or call us and let us know the new order number. If you fail to notify us of your new order, the order may ship out without your return items.


Return of Free Shipped Items

If your original is not eligible for the free shipping without your returned item(s), the original shipping cost will be taken from your returning value.

For example, you ordered a $40 wig and another $50 wig which totals $90 and you used free shipping. After you returned the $40 wig, your original order is just $50 which is not elibigle for free shipping. Then the original shipping cost which we bore will be taken from your returning value such as refund amount.


Timing

After return process team receives the package, it may take 10 days or more to examine.

After the return process team finishes the examination, it may take 10 days or more for the finance team to process the refund. Store credit may be issued immediately.
